“First let me state that the hotel itself was fantastic. Room was very clean and comfortable, staff were very nice, and the breakfast was great. We've been staying exclusively at Hampton Inn for going on 30 years for both personal and business trips and have never had a bad room or experience. That being said, I do want to point out something that I've never came across before in all my years of staying with Hampton Inn. The walls between the rooms here at this specific one are very very thin. I mean you can hear every word that is being said in the other rooms thin. We noticed it over the course of the weekend (we stayed 3 days/2 nights) but it really wasn't a problem because we were only there in the room for nights and mornings. On Sunday morning there was blaring country music being played from the room next door. We at first thought it was one of our cell phones turning on but quickly realized that it was coming from next door. Oh well, it really wasn't a problem for us. We (the three of us) were having a meeting in our room to go over the work schedule for the day, something we do every morning on work trips. Unfortunately the room next to us had a "Karen" staying in it, as they called the front desk to complain about us that we were talking too loud. I could understand if we were loud or shouting, or had the TV on loud which it was turned off all morning, but it was just the three of us talking at normal levels going over schedule details. This is the first time that I've ever been told that I wasn't allowed to talk in my own paid room, and that we had to whisper instead. I could maybe understand if it was at 11pm or 6 am, but after 9am just before check out? Perhaps the staff member who phoned us maybe should have checked to see if we actually were being loud or causing an issue first before calling. It made what would have been a very pleasant experience at the hotel have a bad ending. I don't blame the staff as the hotel was packed and there was an issue with rowdy and loud guests all weekend, especially Friday night. I will continue to use Hampton Inn during all of our trips in the future, but will think twice about staying in this one again due to this issue.”
“We usually stay at a Hampton or a Hilton. We like the pet friendly bonus. It's usually clean and comfortable. This one was both. The breakfast was good. The pool was closed. They did offer us to swim at their sister hotel.”
“Quick take - good hotel at a good price and was in a location that benefited me. The only real issue with the room were a handful of Asian Lady Beetles (I assume they were these; looked like lady bugs). They were all around the AC unit and there were maybe a dozen of them or so. Never spread further in the room and didn't bother me enough to change rooms.”
